Fancy pants:<\/strong> The term fancy pants<\/em> is used to describe someone who acts in a manner that is perceived to be pretentious or over elaborate.<\/p>\n

Example: \u201cEric is too much of a fancy pants<\/span> for me.\u00a0 He is only interested in things that cost a lot of money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Poker face:<\/strong> Someone is described as having a poker face<\/em> if their face is expressionless and without emotion. The term poker face<\/em> is mostly used when talking about the card game poker; poker players don’t want people to know what they are thinking or feeling, so they force a straight face that hides all clues. \u00a0If they are holding a hand of cards and they don\u2019t want the other players to have any idea what type of hand they have, they try to maintain a poker face<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Example: \u201cSteve found it hard to preserve his poker face<\/em> when he was dealt three kings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Picture<\/a><\/p>\n

A little gambling is fun when you’re with me, I love it<\/p>\n

Russian Roulette<\/span> is not the same without a gun<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Russian Roulette:<\/strong> Russian Roulette<\/em> is a very dangerous game where a barrel gun is loaded with just one bullet.\u00a0 Players take turns to aim the gun at their head and pull the trigger.\u00a0 Eventually, one unlucky player will find the bullet and will be killed.<\/p>\n

You are said to be playing Russian Roulette<\/em> if you take unnecessary risks, or put yourself in a dangerous situation.<\/p>\n

Example:\u00a0 “The man was sentenced to 5 years in prison for driving under the influence of alcohol.\u00a0 The judge said that he was playing Russian Roulette<\/span> with other people\u2019s lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wolf in disguise:<\/strong> Someone is described as being a wolf in disguise <\/em>if they pretend to be nice or friendly but are really evil or dangerous.<\/p>\n

Example: \u201cHis teaching methods are just so old school<\/span>. I hate his lessons.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the term old school<\/em> can also mean hip, cool and retro:<\/p>\n

Example: “The DJ played some really cool old school<\/span> tunes.”<\/p>\n

So starstruck<\/span>, baby could you blow my heart up?<\/p>\n

I’m so starstruck<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Star struck:<\/strong> Starstruck<\/em> is used to describe someone who is totally in awe of someone else\u2019s celebrity status.<\/p>\n

Example: \u201cI was so starstruck<\/span> when I met Lady Gaga that I couldn\u2019t speak.\u201d<\/p>\n
